Body Composition & Lab Assessment

Baseline and ongoing lab work and body composition testing to guide your program and track meaningful progress.

Body weight alone is an incomplete measure of progress. When you lose fat while maintaining or building muscle, your weight may change less than you expect, while your health profile improves meaningfully. Body composition analysis gives your provider the data to see this distinction.

We use validated assessment methods alongside lab work to establish a baseline and track changes throughout your program. Labs typically include metabolic panels, lipid profiles, blood glucose, and HbA1C, giving your provider a fuller picture of your health status and how it's changing.

This data guides medication dosing, nutritional adjustments, and program modifications. It also gives you concrete, meaningful markers of progress that go beyond what the scale shows.

What to Expect

  1. 1

    Baseline Assessment

Initial labs and body composition measurements are taken at or near the start of your program to establish your personal baseline.

  2. 2

    Results Review

Your provider reviews your results with you and explains what they mean for your program design.

  3. 3

    Periodic Re-Assessment

Follow-up assessments track changes over time, allowing your provider to see what's working and adjust accordingly.

Questions About Body Analysis

Common questions from patients exploring our programs.

What labs do you typically order?

A standard panel includes metabolic labs (CMP), lipid profile, blood glucose, HbA1C, thyroid function, and additional markers based on your history. Your provider will determine what's appropriate for you.

Is lab work required to start a program?

For medication-based programs, yes, baseline labs are required before we can safely prescribe. For some non-medication programs, labs are strongly recommended but the specific requirements vary.
